Program Description:
Accidents happen, but with some preparation you can give your heirlooms and family photos a chance of making it through a fire or water event. Join us for a primer on how to protect your family treasures. This program will cover the agents of deterioration, some preservation tips, salvage suggestions, and good tools to have on hand.
This is a hands on program that will be held outside on our covered porch. Please wear comfortable clothing for the Florida heat.
Instructor Bio:
Ana Juarez is a collections care professional who works as the Registrar & Collections Specialist at the Florida Maritime Museum in. She has a BA in Art History from Florida Atlantic University and a MA in Museum and Cultural Heritage Studies from Florida State University.
