Join Susan Griffith from the Manatee County IFAS Extension Office for a lecture on the importance of conserving water and prevent stormwater runoff using rain barrels to water your plants in between rains. After, join FMM staff in putting together your rain barrel (included in class fee).

Join Susan Griffith from the Manatee County IFAS Extension Office for a lecture on the importance of conserving water and prevent stormwater runoff using rain barrels to water your plants in between rains. After, join FMM staff in putting together your rain barrel (included in class fee). Students have the option to stick around after class to decorate their barrels with classmates, or decorate their rain barrels at home!*
*FMM staff will provide some paint supplies – anything specific a student wants should be brought with them the day of class.
