Knots are so fundamental to everyday life that we barely notice they are around. We all remember first learning to tie our shoelaces as children, but there are so many other times we utilize knots. Without the knowledge of knots or rope there could be no net making for fishing, woven cloth, or jewelry making. This workshop will provide students with the knowledge of how to construct 7-8 basic knots, along with names and their function that apply to everyday life. 5 feet of rope will be provided for each student.
Students must be 12 years of age or older
