2/9 Navigation- How To Read Charts

Join Captain Gary to learn how to read nautical charts with traditional and modern tools. Knowing where you are is essential to a safe and successful trip on the water. When you make technology the master, you navigate faster to disaster!  

This class is 3 hours with a 15 minute break in the middle. Bring a personal notebook to take notes if desired. All needed materials will be provided. 

*This class is taking place in the event room at FMM's sister site, Palmetto Historical Park, due to our current closure for construction.*

This class is mostly intended for adult learners, but older children who are able to successfully follow directions and safely complete the activity without disturbing the experience of other students are welcome. Please contact with any questions. Minors may NOT be left unattended.
