2. Call 941-708-6120 to make a donation over the phone. A staff member will be happy to assist you.

3. Mail a check made out to Friends of the Florida Maritime Museum to P.O. Box 100, Cortez, FL 34215.

4. Click on the “Donate” button here or at the bottom of any page and complete your donation through PayPal. A gift of any amount is greatly appreciated.

Donating to the Florida Maritime Museum Collections


Thank you for your interest in donating archival materials and artifacts to the Florida Maritime Museum! We welcome your help in fulfilling our mission to preserve and share Florida’s fishing and maritime heritage for future generations.


The Museum is not able to accept every donation, since it takes considerable funds and staff to maintain them.  Additions to the collection must conform to the Museum’s mission and also be donated free and clear of restrictions regarding their use.
