Part-Time Visitor Services Key Holder


To work at the Friends of the Florida Maritime Museum (FMM) you need a passion for history, community and an enthusiastic, can-do attitude. Knowledge of Florida maritime history and retail is a big plus.


We are seeking a Part-time Visitor Services Key Holder to be the first face someone sees when they walk through our doors.

This job involves sales, customer service, and inventory assessment.

Visitor Services employees are enthusiastic and fun when assisting customers. Whether that is with a toy in the gift shop or helping someone check in or register for a folk school class. A good sense of humor, patience, a creative mind and a passion for retail and people are needed. 


This position accurately and effectively performs museum and folk-school related duties for the Florida Maritime Museum while providing outstanding internal and external customer service with moderate supervision. Monthly hours will be split between the Museum and Folk School responsibilities.

No food/drinks inside museum.

No flash photography.

No pets allowed, only trained
